We hit the post office about 9 this morning.......we had to ship off four cabinets. Total cost for shipping, $143 and change. I saw on the news today that the post office has 3.6 billion in surplus for 2003.......why don't they lower shipping costs then? Such a rip off.
Then we headed off for the Dollar General (I love dollar stores!). We had to pick up some dog food (Alpo canned food-2 for $1), cheap! I also got 2 really nice, heavy extension cords for $2.50! (need them for Christmas lights) You can't beat that price.
This afternoon I took the dogs for a short walk with their new harnesses. I bought the harnesses at Pet Smart when visiting Mom. While we were there, we had the opportunity to pet a rescue dog that was shopping with her "Dad". :-) What a sweet doggie!!
The harnesses are great, so much more control over the dogs. Daisy did better today......she usually cries, but I think the more we go, the better she will like it. My Daisy is such a finicky dog, she has a hard time adapting to change or anything that breaks routine. Psycho Pooch! :-) Dixie is just the opposite.......she's up for anything.
Gotta go unload the washer. UGH Later!
