I'm home alone all day today!! Yippie!!!
Hubby and son went drag racing at Raceway Park, in Englishtown, NJ. Caine and I were supposed to go yesterday, but it was too friggin' hot and humid. I was NOT going to swelter in those stands all day. Today is a much better day for drag racing. It's a father and son outing since tomorrow is the big day.
It's almost 1pm and I'm still in my nightie! I love my alone time, I don't get enough of that anymore. I can do what I want and not feel guilty about it. lol I haven't done anything today but lounge around and watch tv.....life is grand! :-)
On a sad note, Bill died early Thursday morning (1:05am). He died peacefully in his sleep. Rosie was resting and their neighbor, Joyce, was at his bedside. He was suffering so much, thankfully, he is now at peace. He will be sorely missed, he had such a great sense of humor. Cancer is a vile disease.
Well, I'm off to do something.......whether I get it done or not is a different story. :-)
