Hi ya from old fogie land!

Yup, I'm at Mom's place........the retirement community. Woe is me for what's in store for me in my old age. ugh.
Sunday we cleaned out the garage (bulk pickup was today). Good lord, the junk pile that we had. It was the best pickens for the neighborhood junk collectors. Yesterday we cleaned up the pile of old rusty shit under a tarp in the back yard. More junk for the pile.
I also trimmed some of the bushes and trees..........what a mess. I also injured myself when trying to break a branch off that I couldn't cut through. The branch snapped and a piece flew off and hit me between the eyes. It cut me and blood was dripping down my face and droplets off of the end my nose. Now I have this bloody "thing" between my eyes.............lovely. I was lucky that I didn't injure my eye! Stoopid!
Otherwise, all is fine here. We took a walk this evening and I stole some coleous (sp?) clippings from a house on the next street over. I love those plants......especially when they are free! I know, stealing from some old lady............shame on me. ::smack::
Now off to watch some stupid sci-fi movie, you guessed it, on the sci-fi channel.
