Heard from the funeral home today........Dad is ready for pick up. I'm hoping I made the right decision going with cremation.....I had no idea what his thoughts were on this. I told him he would be coming home one day.....this is the only way I could keep that promise. I wasn't about to have him freeze dried and stuffed.

I can't wait to get tomorrow over with. I'm feeling kinda nervous about getting his "ashes". It's like.......ewwwwwwww. Not sure if am going to look at "him"..........but, I bet curiosity will get the best of me before long. I kinda want to look and get it out of my system. It's just something I'm feeling right now.......I'll have hubby look first. Then I'll peek.
