Mom

Mom is starting to feel the effects of her Prozac therapy. She is feeling so much more in control........(thank goodness). She was starting to drive me nuts too. Now I know how I affected everyone before I started on Paxil. I was a total wreck........but I can say that I was a functional wreck. I functioned, but, when I look back......I don't know how I did it. I thank God that I finally mustered up the guts to seek help (with the help of some dear friends and my family).......it took me over 30 years.
I often wonder what causes the chemical imbalance...........does it just happen? Would a trauma cause it? Are people born with it? I don't think anyone has found the cause of this mental disorder as of yet.
