Welcome, Spring!

Yippie! It's spring and such a beautiful day it is! I sat on the deck this morning with my coffee and smoke and enjoyed the warm sunshine. The air is cool, but the sun is nice and warm.

Recently I added some new journals to my reads list. I've added a couple from Iraq and one from a homeless guy in Nashville. They are all very interesting, so take a gander when you get time.

This morning hubby encountered an electrical disaster waiting to happen. He was working and noticed his light was dimming. Then he heard a popping noise from an outlet and saw sparks. Needless to say, he shut down the electricity immediately. When he removed the outlet cover he discovered a mess of tangled wires touching the metal box and a broken outlet. The former owner, ::ahem:: I should say the "remodeling butcher", wired the basement himself......a total fucking moron. After a trip to Home Depot, hubby replaced the workings "properly", and all is fine now. We can only imagine what the other outlets look like. Soon he will be replacing all the outlets with new ones.
