Memorial Day

The weather today fits the holiday......solemn. I just viewed some pictures of the World War II Memorial, hopefully we will be able to visit it one of these days. We visited Arlington Cemetery many years ago, it takes your breath away.
My Dad had a tour of duty in Korea, he was stationed at the DMZ. My stepdad fought in the Battle of the Buldge. He has some very interesting and horrific stories of the war.

We have nothing planned for today, besides, the weather is not good for anything outdoors.
Hubby is snoozing in his chair and I'm trying to decide if I feel like painting or joining him in a snooze.
I do know that I have a mound of laundry to fold! ewwwww
