chilly!

Fall is definitely in the air! The leaves are turning colors, the air is cool and crisp.......I will never retire to Florida. I love the changing seasons too much.

I've been busy knitting and crocheting. I'm knitting another poncho and crocheting a wonderfully soft scarf. I have to post pictures of the yarns, beautiful plum colors. I'm so lazy to take pictures most of the time! I wore my winter white poncho out yesterday.....I found it a bit uncomfortable. For one thing, I couldn't sling my purse on my shoulder. Don't like that at all.

I've also started walking again.....the weather is perfect for walking. I plan to walk 5 days a week (not weekends). I feel so much better when I do it, plus I could lose a few pounds. Ever since I started Paxil, I've gained. Weight gain is one of the side effects, unfortunately.

Tonight, Caine and some of his friends are at the Metallica concert in Philly. Gotta love Metallica! I would love to go, but I can only imagine the craziness! The "boys" took Mardi Gras beads with them hoping for some titty flashing. Sheesh! Do men ever grow up? Stupid question, huh?

I joined a yahoo group the other day.
The Hugs Project is a group that supports our troops in Iraq by sending them handmade cooling/heating ties. They also send over other handmade stuff. I plan on making some hats and scarfs since the weather will be turning colder over there. So far the members all seem very nice! Check out the site when you have some time!
