update on my Dixie Dog

I had posted earlier about the injury on the side of Dixie's face. Well, the vet came and said it wasn't an injury, rather, it's a Hot Spot! I thought a hot spot was a small itchy area! I was instructed to pick off the scabs once the sore heals....how lovely! Well, I've been pickin' at it....reluctantly. The poor dog has a bald spot now! To anyone that owns a doggie, if you suddenly see a icky, sticky, runny, bloody, pussy, large sore.....don't panic......it's a hot spot.
