alas! I blog again
I haven't had the time nor ambition to share my life as of late. There's so much to tell, I don't even know where to start.
Hubby got his new eye glasses this morning.......the "old fart" needed bifocals! I must say, my sweet old fart looks dashing in his new specs. Of course, he's going to have to adjust to using them. So far, so good!
Hubby also had a doctor's visit this past Monday. The doc reviewed all of his records from the ER and is convinced that his heart is fine. However, he did order a stress test just to be sure and to put hubby at ease. He also wrote an RX for nitro pills just incase. Told hubby not to chew them, for they will blow up! :-)
The medical bills are now pouring in from the ER visit. One bill is just under $2,000. ::sigh:: They charge $600 just for the privilege of sitting in the waiting room with all the sick people. For that price, they should have served us dinner and drinks! Outrageous.
Tomorrow we are applying for "Charity Care" at our doctor's advice. We paid alot of money into the health insurance system when we did have it (years and years worth).......now WE need help. So fuck it, I'm swallowing my pride.
How am I doing? I'm okay. Hanging in there.
