I'm HOME!

I was a total lazy slob while visiting Mom this past week.....shame on me. Well, I wasn't really a slob.....but, I sure as hell was lazy! Actually, I was so bored with the laziness that I couldn't wait to get back home to my mad house.
We did go out to dinner a couple of times and went shopping.......the rest of the time I was a slave to the tv and the flipper. Yup, I was THE flipper Queen.......at home the flipper is glued to the hubby's chest. I'm the flipper peasant until he goes to bed.

With all the terrorism shit going on........would you believe that they have rent-a-cops guarding the entrance to Ft. Dix? Well, believe it. I was shocked.......this is how the military is defending our bases and posts? The guy barely checked Mom's ID and he didn't even check mine. Granted, I wasn't sporting a beard and wearing my flannel pj's.....but, you would think that during wartime, they would check ALL ID's. Way to go, Homeland Security.

Caine and I went to visit Joe today to bring him his life blood.......potato chips. He's addicted.
We also hit our local music store to buy some guitar strings. OMG.....I've never seen so many beautiful guitars.....they ARE a work of art. I wish we had enough dough to buy Caine a Fender Stratocaster for Christmas. :-( He's doing really well playing.......as for me, I'm way behind. I just haven't had the time.

Well, I'm off to finish up the afghan I made for my MIL. I'm such a peach. :-)
