Almost done....
with my mini crocheted Christmas stockings. They are so cute! I will post a picture when done.
Hubby spent most of the day in bed with a terrible migraine. Poor guy! I feel so helpless when he has these headaches, there is nothing I can do for him to help ease the pain. His side of the family are prone to these painful headaches. So far, Caine hasn't had one yet.
I'm looking forward to Christmas this year. In the past, the holidays were very stressful for me........I actually dreaded it. This year I feel at ease and not worrying about what to buy. Since we can't afford to buy much, everyone is getting ONE thing that they really want (within reason, of course!). Joe is taken care of already, as well as Mom. Not sure what hubby wants yet (probably some sort of tool), Caine is getting an X-Box game (he said he wants nothing......just glad to be back home). I'm thinking about getting him the "Lord of the Rings" game. I want a mixer that sits on the counter.......like a Kitchen Aid........but, not that expensive. Hubby blew my mixer up when making butter cream frosting! We've decided not to get caught up in a materialistic Christmas this year......that's not the true spirit of the holiday. Believe me, it makes for a more joyous holiday season and less grouchy family members!
