finally some time to.....
BLOG!
Busy day outside today. We mulched our landscaping in front of the house today.....we need 6 more bags of mulch. We also transplanted some plants from the back of the house to the side of our driveway. I also set up my backyard water garden. Hubby raked the front yard and he will be putting down some weed and feed over the weekend. We are going to have our driveway repaved soon.......that will make a world of difference! Our driveway has seen better days! There is so much we want to do on the side of the house now that the Nova is gone. We have to patch the cement and then I want to paint it, add some flower pots, hanging plants and a nice bench. I'd like to make a bench out of a headboard and footboard of an old bed. Something unusual. We gotta keep our eyes open on trash day! If it's free, it works me me! :-)
Yesterday, the Animal Control people were over at our neighbors. Someone must have called about the dogs. They knocked on the door, but no one was home. They didn't take the dogs, but I'm sure they'll be back.
For Mom's Day, Caine is taking me to Home Depot and I can pick out plants and stuff for the yard. Looks like I'll be working on Mother's day!
My new crochet project is a shoulder bag. I'm not making a felted bag yet.......this one is kinda a first attempt before I put the money out for wool yarn. I'm getting ready to put the lining in..........will post a pic when finished.
Off to finish watching "Cleopatra" on AMC. It's Epic Movie night! weeeeeeeeee!
