charity care
Okay, we're back from the hospital charity care dept. I need to gather some info (proof of residency, bank accounts, earnings....ect.),then we have to go back and submit everything. Wish us luck!
I have to say that I cried on the way home. All of this shit hit me right between the eyes.......our financial situation, lack of health care, uncertain future. I try not to think about it, but today I had to. I'm so digusted that there is no kind of health services for people like us besides charity care! Our government spends billions upon billions on other countries, and neglects their own people......and they're spending OUR fucking dollars!! Why can't this administration set up some kind of "affordable" program that the uninsured can pay into every month so we don't have to go begging for charity? Is it that goddamn impossible?
Don't get me started on a tangent about the Social Security problems!

You do what you NEED to do...and to HELL with what anyone else might "think"! I agree, that we need a better system set up...but, until that time...take advantage of what you can! (From someone who has used a Government run health care system IE: Military Health care...it's NOT that great!!!)
I hope that everything gets taken care of quickly! You get your ASS to the doc and take care of business! LOVE YOU!
