June 7th is.....
National Hunger Awareness Day. 36 Million AMERICANS hunger every day. Many of them are children in our own communities.
The people that run our country won't ever have to worry about going hungry with their salary and retirement benefits. I wonder if it bothers them when our tax dollars are used to help people in other countries, while our own people suffer.
.......I almost forgot about the abundance of perfectly good food that makes it's way into the dumpsters at the end of each day.
Isn't that a shame?

Yes it is...it's a shame how much food we WASTE in this country! Especially when people are literally starving to death here!
We live in one of the richest countries in the world, and yet we are so money hungry and egotistical that too many of us only worry about ourselves.
And our government...well, don't get me STARTED on them when it comes to issues like this!!!
