Our Haunted Prison Tour....eek!
Last Thursday Mom and I went to the Historic Prison Museum in Mt. Holly, NJ. We arrived around 1:15pm, after our shopping trip at Columbus Flea Market (more on that later). When we got there, the prison was closed for lunch and was due to open at 1:30. We waited and waited, it musta been a long lunch! So, finally I banged on the door. A young woman opened the door and welcomed us in. We went to reception area and signed a guest book and browsed the gift shop. Nothing much to buy except handcuffs, badges and t-shirts. I did NOT want to bring handcuffs home!! Hubby might have gotten some ideas.......
Anywhooo..........we chatted with the girl a bit, she handed us a map of the prison, we were on our way. BTW, she told us that this was the most haunted building in NJ. (thanks, hon). Mom and I were the only "ghost hunters" in the place and we had to take the tour ALONE. Self guided!! *shiver*
*Take a look at the flickr pictures to the right to see the tour.* I must say, I didn't feel anything weird or see anything that would put a fright in me. The only thing that bothered me was that my eyes and throat burned, Mom's did too. It must have been the dust from the old masonery.
However.......I did take a picture in the warden's office and something strange did show up on the shot. I even sent the picture to the South Jersey Ghost Hunters. Take a looksie at the shots below:
There was no ornamention on the cabinet door. See the yellow sphere near the panel of the door? When I zoomed in on the sphere, I can see the face of a man. I'm NOT shittin' you!
Here's another shot:
This is a little blurry since I cropped and enlarged it. Call me nuts, but I think I might have captured something spooky!! NOW I'm friggin' scared! Hopefully, no one tagged along when we left! Yikes!
OH! I was convicted of showing my belly button.

Sounds like fun! Something Sam and I would love to do together...although with our luck..we would have all kinds of weird things happen to us!
It is interesting that you captured an orb on your film. I always find it fascinating when things like that happen on film...especially if they happen often at a certain location.
Glad that you had a good time with Mom!
