Mom and I at the Veterans Home today.

The old building behind us will be demolished once the new building is up and running. It's going to be beautiful! They are also going to restore the wheel chair garden so the residents can plant veggie gardens again. How cool is that?

When Mom walked passed the day room.......all the guys were whistling at her! LOL I missed it, I was sitting with Joe. Too funny! We brought him BBQ ribs today.....his favorite meal. He enjoyed them ear to ear.

All in all, a good day. Mom is leaving for home tomorrow. My Aunt is coming from Germany on Sunday.....I'll be going over there sometime next week for my mini vacation. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
