Thank God things are finally progressing in the Big Easy. I agreed with one of the commentators on the news, these people shouldn't be called refugees......they are citizens of this country.....unfortunately, displaced citizens.

A big thumbs up for Texas! It's so wonderful how they opened their doors and hearts for these desperate people. If I lived close by, I would most certainly volunteer my help.

On another note........it's so disconcerting how some human beings can become so depraved as to terrorize, kill, and rape helpless people during this desperate situation. They should leave these animals in the muck and let them die a horrible, stinking death.

As for me........all is fine over here! Hubby and I had a tickle fest this evening....I almost peed myself from laughing. We also figured out how old folks make love......."they take breaks". ::blushing::

We'll, I'm off to watch more news and treat myself to a couple of chocolate chip cookies.
