Sweet Ty

Ty is one of our Honored Vets that I've come to love while visiting the Veterans Home. Ty has MS and has been a resident of the home for 31 years. Yes, his life has been a struggle.
Ty is the sweetest man I have come to know there. When he smiles his blue eyes twinkle like stars. I always kiss him on the forehead and call him my sweetheart. Ty loves soap operas and Marlboro cigarettes. Since he can't use his arms and hands, he needs help with smoking. I've helped him many times with flicking the ashes.

Ty's last wish was a Happy Meal from McDonald's. He got it.
Ty died Thursday.

God bless him, he will be missed.
