Ho Ho Ho

It's almost time once again! Hope everyone has their shopping done.....we finished up today. We didn't buy much this year so it was pretty easy. Mom picked up Joe's 3 one pound lobster tails for us (will pay her back). This was Joe's requested gift for Christmas. Hubby made Mom her DVD cabinet (still have to apply the last coat of finish on it) and today we picked up the rocking chair that she wanted (she will never sit in it....but's it's what she wanted). Caine got the "Lord of the Rings" video game for his X Box and a wireless controller. Our friend Sel is getting a hand crocheted blanket that I made him and the DVD, "Jason and the Argonauts" (he loves these kind of movies). As a family gift we are buying a ventless gas fireplace for the family room (AFTER Christmas). Hubby bought me these adorable dining room chairs that I saw at a used furniture store (I used his money to buy them, soooooo, it's his gift to me!) ::grin:: After Christmas I am dragging him to get an eye exam and glasses, I will pay for it with my Christmas money. I am tried of him belly achin about not being able to see and NOT doing anything about it!!! SO........we are ready for another Christmas.....my 49th. :-)
