Our day....

I woke up this morning feeling like crap.....my sinuses are so stuffy, I feel like one of those stuffed pizzas! Plus, my head is all woozy. Figures I have to feel bad two days before the big day. Anyway......we headed off to buy Mom's rocking chair. What an adorable little store we went to.......the handmade cabinets, hutches made me drool! $1,000 for a small cabinet! Yikes......way above my budget, but absolutely gorgeous work! Hubby got to see the woodshop out back, the owner said to bring over one of our cabinets and he will try to sell it in his store. Cool!!
We dropped the chair off at home and headed for the grocery store. Now we have stuff to eat! THEN, we stopped by the SPCA and dropped off some dog food and cat food for the animals. We visited the dogs and gave them all milkbones. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.....wished I could bring them all home with me! I hate going there, it breaks my heart to see all of those homeless and unwanted animals. Nevertheless, I am glad I went! :-)
Came home and I took a long nap.....feeling a tad better tonight. I made hot chili with rice for dinner.......was delicious. Now I am ready to relax and work on my next crochet project.
