i shoulda never got up this morning...

We had a potential plumbing disaster over here this morning. We've been noticing a small leak from the tub area down in the basement. This morning there was water all over my washer from my shower last night. Hubby checked it out and when he touched one of the pipes (tub drain pipe), it just broke apart. Totally rotted.
What sucks with these kind of repairs is that you can't get to them freely and the working space is so small. I think I've heard every cuss word in the English language this morning. ::sigh::
Hubby finally got everything apart and is on his way to Home Depot for new parts. Hopefully he can fix this thing without calling a plumber. Calling a plumber on a friggin' weekend? No way.
