Hi from Mom's digs!

I'm at my Mom's place, been here since Sunday.
We went to see Bill today, he's not doing well at all. He's very thin and weak. He can walk around, but I don't think he will be doing that for too long. He's having a hard time swallowing (just like my Dad had).....the nurse said that eventually he will not be able to swallow at all. How terrible is that? I can't even imagine.
After Mom and I came home, Mom called over there and Sally was crying on the phone, so I went back over. It's such a sad situation for all. We will be going back over there tomorrow....I will be saying my goodbye's, this will most likely be the last time that I see him alive. :-(

Mom and I decided to paint her sunroom while I am here. I started on Tuesday and I'm still not done! We (I) painted the ceiling a dark pea soup color and the walls are a lighter pea soup color, the trim is white. I know, it sounds unappetizing, but actually it's very "tasteful"! We love it! Mom bought a handmade area rug from Afghanistan (supporting terrorizim? lol) and it looks wonderful in the room.
For the rest of my visit.... I AM GOING TO REST! I'm friggin' beat.
I can say that Mom tried to help with the painting, but she sucked. I kicked her out. lol

Time for a cup of tea and a piece of coconut cake! YUM We've been stuffing our faces with gummi worms. I love them!
