finally.......
some time to myself! My men went to a car show.......I'm home alone! Wheeeeeeeeee!
I really enjoy my own space, having someone around all the time drives me nuts. I guess you could call me a loner......fortunately, I'm never lonely.
Anyhoo....
We qualified for charity care at our local (brand new) hospital! That's a load off of my mind for sure. Hubby goes for his cat scan this coming Thursday, he will be having hernia surgery in the near future. Hopefully, it's out patient. Also, the emergency room fee from last December is covered, so, we won't have to pay that. It was almost $2,000! A real big plus since we can't afford it.
Our new shower is done! We converted our bathtub to a 5 ft. shower stall. Gawd, it's wonderful......I stay in the shower until the hot water runs out! It has two moulded seats so you can sit when shaving your legs. No more balancing act! Mom paid for it, I'm so grateful to her. Thanks, Ma!
My Daisy has a hematoma of the ear. She has infections in both ears and while shaking her head she broke a blood vessel in her ear that caused a blood pocket. Her ear looks like a sausage! Eventually the body will absorb the blood and the ear will heal. Of course, we have to chase her around the house in order to put in the ear drops! Silly doggie!
I've been trying to download Martha's poncho pattern from
Bernat. So far no luck! I guess alot of people are trying to do the same thing! Anyone else going to make the poncho?
I ordered David Carradine's Tai Chi video for beginners at Amazon. I'm going to give it a try before I join the class at our hospital's fitness center. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it with the osteoarthritis in my shoulders. I hate to spend the money joining a class and then not be able to do the exercise. I can't find anyone to attend the class with me, so I'm going with myself! :-)
Well, off to enjoy my space! Everyone have a great Sunday!

I just wanted to stop by and say "Hi" it's been a while. I've been away from blogging for too long and hope to be back soon.
