No fool like a young fool....

I never thought in my life I would hear such an idiotic statement come from my son's mouth. However, I will give him some slack because he is young.
He is returning home after a relationship that has left him broke, emotionally drained and just plain physically tired. He tells me today on the phone, "Once I get home, I am going to help her out." If he had said that in my presence, I think I would have slapped the shit out of him. I still might! He will never be too big or too old to be slapped by Mom. After spending his life savings, his paychecks and about $2,500 of OUR money on her bullshit........he is NOT going to be helping her out when he gets home. Not over my dead body! I said to him......"the fuck if you are!"......."once you pull out of that driveway tomorrow.......there is no looking back. It's over.......it's finished." I've never put myself in the middle, I don't meddle in my son's business.......but, you better believe that this is not going to happen while he is living under MY roof. After I chewed him a new asshole........he said, "You're right, Ma." Damn right I am!
